"Dressing From the Inside Out"
Mission:
The Mission of RISE is to support economically disadvantaged women who are entering or re-entering the workforce and provide the tools to help them become self-sufficient through an effective and comprehensive program that focuses on personal and professional development while elevating self-image and esteem.
We serve women who are striving to RISE above adversity. Typically, they are single mothers with little personal or financial support. Many are receiving public assistance and the rest fall into the category of the working poor. They are diverse in age, education, ethnicity and goals. These women have had their opportunities for personal growth limited by a variety of issues including abuse, generational poverty, addiction and more.
What we do:
RISE is a not-for-profit organization that expands the traditional job training curriculum to include positive self-image, appropriate workplace behavior and appearance in order to effectively present themselves professionally.
RISE empowers its clients and helps them build self-confidence by identifying personal barriers for inner growth and develop a positive self-concept.
RISE offers free workshops and internship opportunities focused on recognizing personal worth and practicing effective communication skills.
RISE administers beginner to intermediate computer courses, which includes assistance with the completion of online job applications
RISE provides personal shoppers who to help clients select professional clothing and accessories for the workplace from our in-house boutique. Clients are permitted to receive additional attire upon being hired.

Volunteer: Become a personal shopper, mentor, or guest speaker for one of our many workshops
Donate: We receive the majority of our interview clothing and accessories from generous donors. We welcome donations from individuals as well as items collected through clothing drives.
Partner: We have partnerships with community-minded clothing and accessory retailers. We invite interested retailers to contact us about contributing to the RISE program
